In pathology as well as in the analytical laboratory, ultrasound is today an integral part when it comes to rapid diagnostics and high process effectiveness. The SONOCOOL now combines the process accelerating effect of ultrasound with simultaneous cooling of the samples.

Bone decalcification is an important process step in the histological evaluation of samples, e.g. in the field of oncology, because only decalcified samples can be prepared artifact-free for later diagnosis. The previously lengthy process can now be significantly accelerated by ultrasound compared to conventional methods. At the same time, the morphological structure of the samples is preserved by the integrated cooling system. A poor-quality specimen and – associated with this – a more difficult or impossible diagnosis is thus avoided. The findings are available faster.

In analytical laboratories, the catalytic effect of ultrasound can now be used with SONOCOOL even on heat-sensitive samples. Exothermic reactions remain controllable due to the cooling function, process sequences are faster and more effective.
